I taught myself to design and build websites because I got tired of seeing local businesses I actually cared about — the bookshop I grew up in, the pizza place my family's ordered from for years — stuck with sites that didn't do them justice.
So I started reaching out. I pick a business, research what makes it worth caring about, and build a completely free sample redesign — no obligation, no pressure — just to show what's possible. If they like it, I build it out for real at a price that actually makes sense for a small business.
